Studio J Dance Academy opened in March 2017 and has received an overwhelming response with more and more students joining the family every day.
We aim to provide classes that children of all ages and abilities will enjoy with a strong emphasis on building friendships and boosting confidence.
By designing fun and creative lessons we will keep your child engaged so that they can learn and progress safely at their own pace.
Keeping class sizes small ensures each student receives all the attention they need to reach their full potential.
When you send your child to one of our classes you can feel safe knowing that your child is learning all the foundations they need to help them grow into a beautiful, strong and confident dancer.
All our classes are taught by caring, experienced, professional teachers with the aim of helping every student find their passion for dance.
To see if we are the right school for you and your child why don't you contact us to arrange a trial class today?
Miss Jo found her passion for dance at a very young age and after training at Phil Winstons Theatreworks she went on to perform professionally all over the world. Eager to share her love and passion for dance she found her way into teaching and with over 10 years of experience and professional teaching qualifications with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) and Acrobatic Arts she formed Studio J Dance Academy where she strives to inspire each and every individual to reach their full potential and fully enjoy every moment they spend in class.
Miss Ellie has always had a strong passion for dance and the performing arts. She became involved in the
arts at a young age performing in school shows. Inspired and full of passion, Ellie furthered her
education and love for the arts at the Ripley Academy of Dance and Drama. In 2017, Ellie went on to
study BA Hons in Musical Theatre at The University of Wolverhampton. Since graduating Ellie has
been using her education and experience to pass her passion for the arts onto others. She hopes to
inspire others using dance and musical theatre.
Miss Lydia found her love for dance as a young child and since has grown into performing on stage and creating magical choreography. She started finding her feet with baby ballet and eventually found her soft spot for technical styles such as lyrical and modern dance. Lydia aspires to complete her dance education and share her talent and skills doing A-level Dance and hopefully train at Phil Winstons Theatreworks to become a professional dancer. Lydia hopes she can use her knowledge and experience to inspire students to become the best dancers possible.
