Welcome! We are thrilled to have you with us!!
Here you should find everything you need to know about Studio J. Should you still have any questions, we are always on hand and happy to assist!

Shortly after your trial class, you will receive a welcome email with a link to complete your enrolment form. Please check your junk/spam folder and if you still haven't received it after 48 hours do let us know.
Once this is completed you are officially part of the Studio J family! Be sure to add yourself to our parent group on Facebook and follow us to keep up to date with all things Studio J.

UNIFORm
Your child can wear anything they are comfortable in for class. Generally, any t.shirt, leggings/joggers is absolutely fine. When you're ready, we do stock our own uniform that can be purchased in class but there is no rush to buy this. We are not strict when it comes to uniform and just want our students to feel comfortable.

Our classes run during term-time only. Please take note of the following dates when we will be closed. We will always remind you via email throughout the year and on our Facebook/Insta pages so please be sure to follow us!

WHAT WE DO
SHOWTIME!
​Our bi-annual showcase gives our students the opportunity to feel like a star performing on the big stage in a real theatre! We do our best to keep costs down by hiring costumes making this an affordable experience for all. Not to be missed, our shows will have your child beaming with pride and confidence!
Exams
Most of our classes are 'free' classes and not based on following an exam syllabus. However, we do offer our students in our Tutus & Taps and Graded classes the chance to take exams in ballet, tap, and theatre craft with the IDTA. This is an excellent way to progress through the different levels and gain a sense of achievement as they are awarded with a certificate and plaque with their name on.
Watching Week
We love for you to see how your child is progressing in dance class and every few months will invite all family members to sit in and watch their class so you can see for yourselves just how great they are doing and what fun we have!
class presentations
Every year we host our own in-house class presentations where all friends and family are invited to come along and watch our students perform a routine they have been working on in pairs. They are awarded with a rosette, medal, or trophy depending on their level. This is a fantastic way to build confidence and performance skills in a more relaxed setting.
Film night
Our annual film night is something our students really look forward to! It's a chance to relax, celebrate all we've achieved throughout the year and enjoy some quality time together. We set up the big screen and invite all students to join us in their pyjamas, bring your blankets and popcorn and just chill out!
THEMED CLASSES
Throughout the year we keep our classes fun and exciting with themed classes for every holiday, Easter, Halloween, Christmas, any excuse to dress up and celebrate!! If you don't celebrate these holidays please come and speak to us.
OUR FEES
Our fees are calculated over the 39 weeks of the academic year and divided into 11 equal monthly payments (September–July).

Fees are due on a monthly basis. We take payment automatically on the 1st of each month. If you wish to cancel your place, please notify us at least 48 hours before the end of the current month to ensure that no further charges are applied
